EDITING AND PROOFREADING We help your project by ensuring clarity, correct grammar and word choice. We try to remove any inconsistencies in plot and character development as well as improving structure and plotting. Even great writers require the work of an editor as, like all of us, they are often too close to their work to see it with impartiality. Our reputation is also at stake. We don’t like errors because you can bet that readers will notice them. Imagine you had just washed your car but accidentally left a patch of dirt and grime on the driver’s door. Anyone who is serious about their writing and who wishes to be published should have a manuscript assessment. A professional manuscript evaluation is not the same as asking your family or friends to read your work. For the sake of harmony, to spare your feelings, (and because those close to us often see what we have written through rose-coloured glasses), it is almost impossible for them to be impartial.
